With an eye to security as well as ensuring they adopt the most up to date technology in their business, Commonwealth Bank was looking to understand how cloud could be used for business units to have on-demand, a pattern-based set of platform services that were instrumented with enterprise banking policies to manage security, data and financial industry risks.
We prototyped an Azure-based workspace for business units to quickly get Azure Application Resource including App Services, SQL Azure Database and more. This also allowed a log in and visualising of all user behaviour. We provided Azure resource usage actuals and forecast.
We provided a working proof of concept that showed how cloud could be used for provisioning workspaces for business units to quickly start application development. Azure and our solution was ultimately selected by Commonwealth Bank as part of their cloud strategy.
